Summary/Abstract: It’s a well-known fact that the end of the Cold War has fundamentally changed the international political system. The bipolar power structure – the international system is dominated by two superpower – was replaced with a unipolar power structure – the existence of a single major power that has the ability to design policies all over the world. Among the world China is seen as the next power that could replace US hegemony. By using a new type of analysis, namely hierarchy, the present article will explore if China present power changes the polarity of international relations, from unipolarity to bipolarity or multipolarity.
