Summary/Abstract: The article contains a comparative analysis of election and the role of President of the French Republic, compared with President of Romania. The analysis focuses in particular on differences between the two institutions, especially given the constitutional revisions of the two states. Also under review are the conditions to be met to run for the Presidency, how to elect the President and the role it has in investing and setting up the Government from each State, whereas each of the two states President and Government is the executive.
