Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is the identification of changes in Lower Silesian agriculture after the adaptation of CAP. The source of materials were public statistics and information of Agency of Restructuring and Modernizing of Agriculture. The study used the comparative method of analysis. After 2002, the number of farms decreased by 30%. This applies to the smallest farms. At the same time a process of concentration of land in large farms with an area of over 50 ha. and 100 ha. was noted. Resources of farms have shifted towards crop production, mainly cereals and oil seed rape, as it was seen in the structure of output. The funds gained within the CAP initiated the modernization processes in farms.
