Summary/Abstract: The present paper will present Kierkegaard’s main philosophical theses that prove to be authentic expressions of the Danish philosophical spirit: inner life, because philosophy must assure the perfection of individual’s inner life; uniqueness, because the single individual is the one that matters; truth, because it represents the only intended purpose of knowledge; angst, because it represents a paradoxical state of the human existence; Christian faith, because a healthy spirit can only develop on the strength of faith; dialectics, because it is the unique authentic method of the existence; freedom, because it represents the absolute aim of human spirit. The paper presents these theses in four parts: irony, philosophy of the three spheres of human existence, angst, Christianity.
