Summary/Abstract: One of the consequences of the mechanization of agriculture has been its increasing share in environmental pollution, the other was the growing attractiveness of life in the relatively less - polluted countryside which diminished the flight from the villages to the cities. The concentration and automation of production and packing machines in the countryside as well as the closer cooperation between agriculture and food processing industries resulted in a lowering of pollution. In addition there occurred a change in the structure of the village population. This in turn caused changes in the village's infrastructure which, by requiring measures for recreation and recreation areas, corresponded to the demands of nature conservation and pollution control.
