Methodology of European social survey

Summary/Abstract: European Social Survey was designed to meet substantive and methodological issues. The latter aims at development of standards concerning tools of research and its realization. This article discusses standards concerning two stages of research which carry the greatest risk of error, Le.: administration of questionnaire and fieldwork - in the latter case I will focus on efforts to increase response rate.
