Summary/Abstract: The continuing transformation of economic relations within the Slovak eco-nomy appears to become one of the factors increasing the interest of both domes-tic and foreign subjects about the information of analytical and forecasting nature. Especially, the arising interest concerns the direct influences and impacts resulted from the transition process. However, development of the appropriate modelling tools enabling to transmit the required category of information has become pre-requisite to meet the mentioned demand. The given econometric model could be considered as a tool prospectively enabling to provide the information mentioned above. This paper deals with its second version developed in INFOSTAT Brati-slava. In constructing the model the authors tried to describe and estimate the rela-tions existing within the Slovak economy as much as possible. However, the data base of variables depended upon completeness and availability of published statis-tical information turned out to be the determining and limiting factor in estimation of individual relations and equations. The given model is described in this paper. Individual parts of the paper are devoted to the following: • structure and economic content of the given econometric model version of the Slovak economy, • model data base and specification of its individual variables, • parameters estimation of model regression equations, • economic content of the system of estimated regression equations, • verification of the model.
