Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to show the extraordinary evolution of Asian, and particularly Chinese, consumer market over the last five years. The emerging market niche transformed into a target for leading global luxury goods manufacturers, giving clear signals about changes in the global economy. The paper shows the course of changes in the Asian market of luxury products (with the exception of the Japanese market) on the example of the expansion of the Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy group with a particular focus on China.
