Summary/Abstract: From the independence of Argentina in 1810 to nowadays have been two centuries of a passionate history. The civil wars made most of the political history until 1880. The economic prosperity and the political “unicato” arrived after that. A real democracy is established in the country from 1916 until today, except 34 years of military governments. Therefore, in 200 years, Argentina only has enjoyed 60 years of democratic government.
