Cosmodromes of Symbolic Structures and Bodies of Cosmonauts. On the Risk on Transgressing Gender and the Norms of Sexuality

Summary/Abstract: I present a fragment of a thesis written under the direction of professor Paweł Dybel at the Interdyscyplinarne Studia Podyplomowe nad Kulturą i Społeczną Problematyką Płci Gender Studies ISNS UW. Drawing upon concepts of M. Foucault, G. Agamben, J. Butler, G.S. Rubin and M. Wittig I address the problem of subjects' social construction of identity (gender and sexual) and I describe the mechanisms (of culture and law) which society and the state have at their disposal to freely introduce regulations and discipline.
