Summary/Abstract: Serbia's court network consists of courts of general jurisdiction and specialised courts. Courts of general jurisdiction comprise Basic, Higher and Appellate Courts and the Supreme Court of Cassation, as the highest court in the state. Specialised courts comprise the Commercial Courts, the Commercial Appellate Court, Misdemeanour Courts, the Higher Misdemeanour Court and the Administrative Court (Art. 11, Act on Organisation of Courts).
