Summary/Abstract: The dialogue took place in Zenta, Vojvodina. The participants are Nenad Čanak , president of the Chamber of Deputies and Kasza Jószef, vice-president of the Serbian government and the leader of the Hungarian Alliance in Vojvodina. The debate illustrates 2 aspects: 1. the role of autonomy is not to exclude or minimise the contradictions between personalities that belong to different political currents or different ethnic or national communities; 2. accepting the autonomy as general institutional and conceptual frame offers the possibility of consensus in the most important problems even in the case of the most intense debates. The incident metioned during the dialogue has happened at the end of October, when Nenad Čanak , (learning that the president of the local radio and TV station was further appointed by Belgrad, contrary to the explicit intention of the Parliament and government of Vojvodina) has broken the placard of the Serbian Radio and TV Broadcast located in the studio of Novi Sad, in front of the TV cameras. The dialogue was recorded by Szerencsés Zsuzsanna, journalist at the “Reporter” journal.
