Summary/Abstract: The essay deals with Jaroslav Šrank’s book Nesamozrejmá poézia. This book belongs to the interesting attempts trying to interpretate poetical texts. Šrank’s approach is enlivening – the author studies the contemporary Slovak poetry in three texts and he focuses on the work of Štefan Moravčík, Peter Macsovszky and Michal Habaj. He analyzes their poetry with strong preoccupation (he tries to explorate maximum from analyzed poetry), which sometimes complicates the readability of his texts.
