Summary/Abstract: According to Cioran – his opinion being displayed in L’inconvenient d’être né – but also other authors, among ontic injustices birth is the most important and serious. Not death, but birth, even if people consider it the principal event of their life. This is why birth is absolutely undesirable, but for all people this idea is, of course, unacceptable. As a consequence, procreation becomes an act of huge irresponsibility, even if this is an inheritance from God: God is a creator, thus man must be, at his turn, a creator; of course, at a different level. Cioran personally applied this philosophy by living without setting up a family.
