Summary/Abstract: Septuagint: Source of the Romanian Editions of the Bible, Items on the Work of Bible Translation in Romanian Language. The paper presents a historical overview of the Romanian translations of the Holy Scripture which have the Septuagint as a source text. The introductory section briefly presents the history of Christian communities on the Romanian territory. The second part of the study presents both the Bible editions and the research focused on them. Other subjects of interest to the author are: the translation technique, some linguistic aspects, the time and the place of translations, the theological profile and the research perspectives.
