Summary/Abstract: In the context of scientific development, the article proposes a brief comparison between secular and orthodox bioethics, underlining those aspects with are definitory for the orthodox position regarding an ecclesial communion and accepts the existence of mysteries of life and death that man cannot thoroughly understands. On short, as the author himself states, orthodox Bioethics discovers the sacredness of God’s image though these mysteries, and though man its discovers the mystery of God.
