Parish Community of Love and Brotherly Service According to Father Ryszard Kamiński

Summary/Abstract: One of the leading areas of scientific research of Fr. R. Kaminski is the problem of the parish and parish ministry. One of the biggest achievement of this author is developing in Poland a theory of structure of the parish and its saving activities. Fr. R. Kaminski is convinced that the effectiveness of the impact of the parish pastoral ministry on the faithful is conditioned by its permanent renewal. The essence of this renewal of the parish is to develop its character as a community, knowledge and beliefs of the faithful, greater apostolic commitment of the laity and the creation or strengthening of existing substructures in the parish community, especially the parish pastoral council, a small religious communities and community life of the parish clergy. The article contains an analysis of the scientific achievements of Fr. R. Kaminski in the field of the model of the parish as a community of love and brotherly service.
