An incomplete skeleton from Hallstatt period, discovered at Capidava-La Bursuci - anthropological study

Summary/Abstract: Anthropological expertise of an incomplete skeleton discovered in Capidava La Bursuci, being in a good conservation state, had revealed the fact that it belonged to a female individual, approximately 26 year old (young adult or adultus) who had a stature estimated at 157,2 cm (over the average size). There have been pointed out the main cranial and postcranial dimensions, as well as afferent indices, and based on that the physical anthropologic type (Dinaric and Northern) was established. The skeleton doesn't present pathological features.
