Summary/Abstract: A content of the study is an attempt to portray a significant and controversial agrarian politician of the late 19th and early 20th century, originating Lowland Slovak, inter alia nicknamed "peasant king". Áchim was on one side a sympathetic, charismatic folk tribune, purposeful and popular politician, as well as a man extremely open to fellow citizens, especially of lower social status. On the other hand, he was particularly hard on adversaries, opponents, personal and political enemies, he used indiscriminate methods. Undoubtedly, he can be evaluated as the politician seeking honestly a social advancement (essentially stratified) of Hungary s peasant state, regardless of ethnicity, who in many points of his political agenda was ahead of the time.
