Summary/Abstract: A. A. Solovyov shows the peculiarities of spiritual and intellectual in-teraction of Orthodox church and intelligentsia. The author indicates the example of symbolism as «rapprochement of spiritual moral qualities of a person with religious ones». From the same point the author analyzes the theosophical movement of the beginning of the 20th century and the theory of acmeism developed by N. Gumilyov. Another example of spiritual moral search of intelligentsia in the beginning of the 20th century the author sees in the creation of religious philosophical societies. The article pays attention to the Russian religious philosophical Renaissance
