Summary/Abstract: Far right extremism and its political embodiments - extreme right political parties - are one of the most studied topics in political science in last decade, but still we miss generally accepted definition. This article describes significant elements of ideology of extreme right parties - racism, xenophobia, nationalism, anti-pluralism, social chauvinism, anti-party ideology, strong leader doctrine (Führerprinzip) and political messianism. This article presents an analysis of the Czech extreme right wing parties and their impact on party system in the Czech Republic (1989-2006). The article primarily focuses on external (modification of position in party system) and internal (program) evolution of whole party family, but particular parties too. According to party program study article demonstrates strong differences among particular family members and defines four "sub-families" - conservative-nationalistic, xenophobic-populist, racist and ultra-nationalistic. This article concludes that present Czech extreme right parties do not have strong impact on party system and interactions inside party family differ a lot from declared animosity to electoral coalitions.
