Multi-agent systems for electronic auctions

Summary/Abstract: The main advantage of the introduction of electronic business (EB) is reducing the cost and speed of the implementation of business processes as well as providing more convenient services to customers. Agent-oriented technology (AOT) is applied to meet these challenges successfully. In this paper the author presents the possibility of applying agent-oriented approach to a creation of multi-agent system of electronic auctions, as well as the implementation of this software using the agent system JADE.
