Summary/Abstract: The research hypothesis, on which this article is based, is the statement, that new novel infl uences can be found in Jerzy Andrzejewski’s works. Beginning with an att empt to link the writer’s biography with his work, I will att empt to indicate those characteristics of Andrzejewski’s works (especially among Bramy raju and Miazga) which will enable us to extract some parallels between the poetics of those works and the style created (elaborated) by new novel authors.
