Public-private partnership and healthcare

Summary/Abstract: Public-private partnership is a mechanism for public services delivery. The aim of the article is to present potential reasons for its application in healthcare systems, as well as chosen empirical examples. Cost and time of many healthcare projects correspond to basic characteristic of public-private partnership mechanism. Nevertheless, public actors should be aware that it is difficult and risky to carry out projects which participants have different interests.
