Summary/Abstract: The issues of non-tariff or „invisible tariff barriers“ as one of the aspects of protection of domestic market are treated in this article. This kind of tariff barriers manifested itself thorough the so called OMA, VER, MFA and similar agreements during the 80ies, whereas today it is applied through specific forms of adminsitrative, safety, sanitary and other forms of protection. The article will particularly deal with the problems BH exporters have been facing, especially with their counterparts from neighbouring countries, Croatia and Serbia, with which they operate under the CEFT Agreement.
