Summary/Abstract: The entire teaching and thoughts of Saint Symeon the New Theologian are, for the most part, the confession of personal experience. Unique and special in its own way, this personal experience is no stranger to the Eastern tradition of the early Fathers. Among different visions and godly manifesta-tions Saint Symeon the Theologian was blessed with, the vision of the uncreated Light and the com-munion of the Light play an important role in the thinking and mystical experience of this Saint. In his personal notes one can fi nd numerous references to being able to see the Light in which God reveled Himself. Unlike most of the Fathers of our Church, Saint Symeon had no hesitation in talk-ing about his mystical experiences. Saint Symeon reaches an understanding of the trinity of Light, while claiming that Light is originated from the Father and Christ who is Light becomes visible in the light of the Holy Ghost. God reveals Himself into the Light to such extent that all the visions of Symeon are ecstatic. This is not an impersonal ecstasy, as he is drawn away from the world and from himself in order to rise into the Light, and to meet and join God.
