Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is the presentation of global investment flows as a form of Transnational Corporations’ (TNC) activity. The author tries to prove that investments are exemplifications of long term strategies of corporations’ expansion and lead to the creation of the global connections net. Examples of certain transactions made by international firms are compared with the periods of investment flows concentration measured by Mergers and Acquisitions (M&As).
