Summary/Abstract: Editing is the main team process of print press production that takes place in an editorship. Editing includes more steps such as: looking for actual events and cases in society, evaluating, selecting and finishing athors’ and reporters’ first copies, then making headlines and fact checking, creating editorial model and finally, collection of readers’ opinions on particular published work. The first level of editing is materialized on particular first copy, the second one continues on newspapers pages. Editing is getting changed because nowadays globalization and digitalization are in our informative society. In the step of appreciating texts it is more and more important question of copy news value. There are a couple of theories, which say that news is chosen to be published according some criteria, based on shared media experiences.
