Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the so-called Coadjuter's war and the treaty of Pozvol (1556-1557), which directly prefaced the great struggle for Livonia during the Livonian war (1558-1583). The appendix provides a complete Russian translation of the Latin text of the treaty of Pozvol was published by M. Dogiel.
