Summary/Abstract: The paper questions some assumptions and figures proposed in Alexei Lobin's article. In his turn, the author submits a calculation of strength of the Russian army in a particular campaign, namely during the war with the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in winter and early spring of 1535. He also assesses Russia's military potential as a whole which probably amounted to 100.000 men.
