Summary/Abstract: Inter-religious dialogue is the modern spiritual challenge of all the world religions. This paper considers the virtues that inter-religious spirituality rests on – trust, humility, curiosity, friendship, honesty, courage and gratitude. The virtues of inter-religious dialogue indicate that inter-religious dialogue itself is in no way a betrayal of one’s own religious tradition. Instead, it is a testimony of how deeply one is rooted in one’s own religious tradition. Inter-religious dialogue is an integral art of mature and responsible religion. Dialogue leads us not only to respect human freedom, but also to confirm that He chose diversity. As confirmed by virtues of inter-religious spirituality, inter-religious dialogue leads towards common action of the believers towards transforming the world into a divine temple, though not by using force and violence, but rather through solidarity and service to the world that would not exclude a single brother or a single sister inhabiting the earth. In our times, the ability to engage in a concrete and constructive inter-religious dialogue as part of social engagement for common good is undoubtedly one of the key signs differentiating between signs of true faith and a false one.
