Fichte’s conception of the uniqueness of German nation

Summary/Abstract: The author attempts to show concisely Fichte’s conception of the primacy of Germany. The aim is realized in the following order. First, he examines Fichte’s idea of the nation as such. Secondly, he discusses Fichte’s conception of the language. Thirdly, he shows what tasks Fichte does put before the German nation. Fourthly, he attempts to determine what character has Fichte’s nationalism. And finally, he briefly compares Fichte’s conception to the Nazi idea of the German primacy.
