Summary/Abstract: The author discusses a phenomenon of terrorism, which causes an anxiety today. As he notices, first it is a protest against the world, and an attempt of achieving a better world. At its roots, terrorism is a false moralism, which becomes a parody of real objectives and ways of morality. Terrorism is specifically designed so as to have far-reaching psychological consequences, far beyond immediate victim(s), or a subject of a terrorist attack. It is to sow a fear, that is to intimidate a much wider audience, which may include hostile ethnic or religious group, whole country, government, political party, or public opinion. The author discusses an origin of terrorism, its various manifestations, objectives, and also indicates a difference between terrorism and terror.
