The cognitive semantics of parentesises ‘okazalos’,’okazyvaetsa’ in the different discourse contexts

Summary/Abstract: The article studies the cognitive semantics of parentesises оказалось,оказывается in the discourse. The analysis shows that the cognitive semantics of parentesisis embodied in such components of the mental script: the subject; subject's mental activity on deduction of «knowledge»; a content of «knowledge» (conclusion); the emotional reaction of surprise caused by a new content. As a result of mental correlation of the presupposition (assumed earlier) with the assertion (a new content is learned) the subject receives the new information which is allocated with the status of the fact. Parentesis marks the result of subject’s reflection.
