Summary/Abstract: The key terms of given subject are globalisation, cultural, religious, ethnic pluralism integration, differentiation, mobility, otherness, toleration, and fundamentalism. The religious pluralism is analysed in the context of such tendencies as the growth of the fundamentalism, the multicultural and multi-religious communities as result of mass migration, the creation of the global network of the newest technologies and communications, the ethnic and religious conflicts. The author offers to look on the structure of religious pluralism as multilevel object, which embraces inter-confessional and inside-confessional subjects. In conditions of globalisation religious and cultural pluralism objectively becomes that ground, which is the most favourable for prosperity of the global social, cultural and moral tendencies. Pluralism is not an ideology, but rather the dynamic process through which we engage with one another in and through our very deepest differences. Religious and cultural pluralism is not only system of various values, acting under banner of religions and culture in its various modifications, but also has the secular tendency. The language of pluralism is the dialogue. Religious pluralism is not a kind of valueless relativism, it has own system of values as a sum of the different religious and secular commitments. In the conclusion we note that religious pluralism is a term with several meanings, and accordingly there are many forms of pluralism. These forms may stress religious toleration, denomination or individual freedom to different degrees. A truly pluralist society will need to move beyond tolerance toward constructive understanding. While a certain mode of pluralism stresses the individual’s right to religious freedom, another emphasizes collective rights awarded to denominations. The concrete type of religious pluralism and real situation in society depends on many different circumstances: a combination of the variation between religious groups and the variation within groups, on different ways of world’ and religion’ interpretation in the society, on polarization inside one religion from liberalism to fundamentalism or existence of fundamentalism as the biggest and powerful its part.
