THE ROLE OF THE EUROPEAN UNION BUDGET IN MANAGING COMMON POLICIES

Summary/Abstract: Globalisation has attracted new challenges and the European Union has to take into account a series of changes of the financing directions for sectors that are aiming climatical changes, innovation and the businesses environment. In this context the European Union budget has to be used like a management instrument to better use the comunity resources. With the European Union inlargement and the existance of different financial national systems the necessity that some politics are sustained by European resources is growing larger. This is why new founds for research, innovation and diminishing regional disparities were created. This paper aims to underline the way in which the comunity policies are managed through the European Union budget in the financial plan 2007-2013.
