Summary/Abstract: A profound thinker and an acknowledged theologian, Nichifor Crainic took theology out of its narrow fi eld of experts and spread it further, without lessening its meaning, placing it into the attention of the intellectual world. He brought theology into the lights to offer a perspective of understanding all aspects of human life. His course on Orthodox Mysticism is the fi rst systematization of the huge support of doctrines, the ascetic and mystical content of Orthodox spirituality and tradition. The spreading of the teachings on the uncreated grace, the human deifi cation and Theandria contributed to the vigorous renewal of Romanian theology.
