Summary/Abstract: The article pursues the manner in which the stereotypes and prejudices concerning "the other" transposed in artistic images determined the appearance of distorted representations, whose infamous conotations (amplified by the suggestion power characteristic of the iconic mark) made possible stigmatization and Judeophobia.
