Summary/Abstract: This paper attempts to discuss representations of the nation in contemporary Estonian and Anglo-Welsh poetry. In the first section of the article some aspects of defining and delimiting these literatures will be considered. The second part is devoted to the projections of the nation as they appear in recent anthologies of poetry.
