Summary/Abstract: Physical and intellectual abilities, skills, knowledge, personalities and behaviour clearly differ in the children of all ages. The differences arise from a different genetic heritage, but also from the effect of the social environment they live in. The paper will describe the experience related to the integration of a child with the diagnosis trisomy 12 – Down’s syndrome into the regular class of an elementary school in Sarajevo. The basic idea we busied ourselves with in this action pedagogical research – „One module of integrating a child with special needs applied in an elementary school”, was the involvement of all members of the class staff in teacher’s efforts to organise an inclusive class. This is one of the first action researches related to these problems here. The research was done from the first to the third grade, the class had 21 pupils, three of them having being children with special needs. One child will be described in the paper.
