Summary/Abstract: The article aims to illustrate the contextual dependence of the adjectival metaphor on the conceptual zone of coenesthetic sensitivity (i.e. pleasure/ pain). We will also highlight the systemic status of metaphors through a micro-zone belonging to the same field (“cold”) and the validity of devising a classification of metaphors according to parts of discourse.
