Summary/Abstract: The article presents investigation of the subjective content of the notion “social crises”. The Lakoff’s psycholinguistic approach is applied for research of notion and their structures. The content analysis is conducted on generated free associations for “social crises” and “social problems”. The results outline subjective semantic covering of the two notions. They give opportunity for their application in researches having in mind the possibilities for their operationalization.
