Summary/Abstract: Among the manuscripts that were acquired by the "Staatsbibliothek Preussischer Kulturbesitz (Berlin/West)" after 1945 we find a waqfiyeo ft he foundations made by Firuz Beg, who was Sangaqbeg of Bosnia from 1505 until1512. The document is divided into two parts, originally written at different times. The first part is dated November 1491, the second part was probably produced after June 1505. In the first part Firuz still has the function of the keeper of the sultans interior treasury. With this document he establiahes a foundation based on income from the region of Amasya, which are allocated for the running of a medrese in Havza (near Amsya) as well as a mosque with a Koran-school in Istanbul. In the second part of our document Firuz is already Sangaqbeg of Bosnia. Now two new sources of income are added to the endowment -a bath (hammam) in Semendria and a aqueduct in Sarajevo. His other properties in Sarajevo, like the medrese and the bath are not mentioned here. This waqfiye is an important document for biography of Firuz Beg. In addition this waqfiye offers important material for the research on specific rural property conditions in the area of Amasya.
