Summary/Abstract: This contribution presents the degeneration of Italian democracy during the period of twenty years of Berlusconi´s dominantion in governments until the recent time. The difficult situation of Italian democracy reveals his failure aspects during the parlamentary elections 2013. The lack of clear results of elections created a government of wade agreement between centre-right wing (Berlusconi´s political party The People of Freedom-Forza Italia and his supporters) and centre-left wing parties (The Democratic Party and his supporters). The new protagonist of these elections was The Movement Five Stars of the comic actor and political activist Beppe Grillo. This movement of citizens achieved in these elections an unespected success thanks to the new communication with disappointed Italian voters. The Italian mass media implemended during the political campaign the chaotic system of information, that produced a situation of impossibility of government. The present period of Italian history have a characteristics, that are typical of period of democratic transition.
