Summary/Abstract: Nāgārjuna, the mādhyamaka philosophers of the origins probably lived in the second part of the IInd century and of the first part of the IIIrd century A.D. he was born and he exerced his activity in Southern India, where he had a long life of about 80 years. It is almost sure that he has been the founder of the Middle’s School; his philosophy is based on a deep analysis of the elements (dharma). He thinks that their really nature is vacuity. His dialectic clears the way meading to the mystic experience.
