The Bulgarian School of Philosophical Mediaeval Syudies

Summary/Abstract: The text presents the Bulgarian school of philosophical mediaeval studies. As its basic characteristics, it states the study of mediaeval philosophy as an end in itself rather than relatively (not as the heir of the ancient and the predecessor of postmediaeval philosophy). The historical note reminds of the genesis of the school in the beginning of the 1980s and its gradual establishment and institutionalization. The end of the romantic period of Bulgarian philosophical mediaeval studies is announced.
