Tourism activities diversification of the learning youth in Wałbrzyski district

Summary/Abstract: The research referring to the participation in tourism is well developed in Poland, however, the analyses assessing this phenomenon at regional and local level are still missing. Methodological imperfections, diversification of approaches and fragmentation of research reduce the scope of comparison and do not allow for taking advantage of their results in economic practice. The objective of the hereby paper is to characterize tourism oriented activities of the learning youth in Wałbrzyski district. The paper, by means of questionnaire interviews, analyses the power of influence exerted by motivating factors which stimulate young people from Wałbrzych to be active in tourism.
