REKA MURA NA SLOVENSKEM V NOVEM VEKU
RIVER MURA IN SLOVENIA IN MODERN TIMES

Summary/Abstract: As same as before and later, the Mura river had shown its importance and influence on the Slovenian ethnic territory in the early modern age. Thru the whole period changes of its near surround and almost all sorts of living conditions had been done. It defined hundreds of years’ old state border, so the people were apart by it. At the same time it was a connector between the people and their various destinations. On the both river sides the important roads were active, many little ships and other kinds of boats were on it. The article deals with so much as possible roles of Mura river in the early modern age, as man can imagine.
