Nature and dynamics of changes of selected determinants of small enterprises condition under the economic crisis 2009–2010. Research results

Summary/Abstract: The main goal of this paper is to present the research results on changes in revenues, profits and the demand for investment in small businesses (small + micro) observed by the managers of these entities in a deepening economic crisis. In addition, the identification of factors being in direct correlation with the above changes, in the selected characteristics of the company and its manager was taken. Methods used in the research were: questionnaire survey and selected elements of statistical analysis. The presentation of the research results was preceded by a brief discussion of the general economic situation of the enterprise sector in Poland.
