Unilateral modification of the contract of carriage

Summary/Abstract: The pacta sunt servanda principle obliges parties who have given consent to a contract that, later, none of them will not alter or abolish, by their own will, what was agreed by mutual consent. Because of particular economic reasons, the law allows any party to the contract of carriage of goods to change the agreement at any time before sending off the means of transport to the destination and the journey. The new rules of the Civil Code gives us the ocassion to analyze the institution of unilateral change of the contract of carriage, compared to the previous one.
